Two weeks left

My flight back to Taiwan will depart on 31th December. I was in a shock and could not believe it last week. Now I am in a mood of saying goodbye to Edinburgh and preparing to go home.

I had a conversation with Yu Yi (another Chinese member in the church) about Edinburgh today. He told me that most of his friends do not come back to Edinburgh again once they leave here. Yu yi comes back to visit quite often because he misses people and life here a lot because of the church. He doesn't think he would miss Edinburgh so much if he didn't join the church. Edinburgh is the place where we met God and decided follow him. We have a wonderful family here in Edinburgh. We know that we will miss them and they will miss us. It's always so nice to see them again when we come back.

In the next two weeks, I will try to see as many friends as I can. Send Christmas cards. Finish my voluntary work at Barnardo's bookshop. Say goodbye to my supervisors. Go to the Filmhouse! Shop on the boxing day! Pack and then go back to see my loved ones in Taiwan!
